Camp Jobs

Working as a camp counselor is one of the greatest jobs there is! Counselors positively impact campers in so many ways, helping them to grow emotionally and physically, in gaining self-confidence, and having loads of fun. It is also one of the few summer jobs which develops young people into strong leaders by giving them true responsibility in a supportive environment.

Camp Greenbrier seeks to hire only the best. We are looking for counselors who share our desire to provide a wonderful summer camp experience to campers from all over the United States and the world. Our salary for Senior Counselors (18 yrs. or older or graduated from high school) starts at $1,600.00 for the 7 week program. A number of 17 year old Junior Counselors are also hired.

If you would like to apply for a job at camp, download and complete the Staff Application and send it in. Also, have two people, who know you well, each complete a Staff Reference form and return it directly to the camp (they should not give the reference form back to you for you to send in). Applications can be returned as attachments via email to info@campgreenbrier.com, or mailed to Camp Greenbrier, PO Box 585, Exmore, Virginia 23350. References should be teachers, coaches, employers, etc. They should not be peers or family friends.
